When I born, I black.
When I grow up, I black.
When I go in sun, I black.
When I cold, I black.
When I scared, I black.
When I sick, I black.
And when I die, I still black.
You white folks…
When you born, you pink.
When you grow up, you white.
When you go in sun, you red.
When you cold, you blue.
When you scared, you yellow.
When you sick, you green.
When you bruised, you purple.
And when you die, you gray.
So who YOU callin’ C O L O R E D ??

Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values!

Life is all about experiences

Some may be good, some may be bad

But you’ve to embrace them all

Life is queer with its twists and turns

You may not be happy with what’s in store,

But you’ve to embrace them all

All you’ve to do is learn from your past,

And don’t repeat those mistakes

So, those regretful memories don’t last.

No one said life would be easy,

But, in the end,  it would be worth it.

Every morning I get up,

mom hands me over a glass full of milk to drink,

so that my confidence does not blink,

well,” I am not a child, mom”, I say,

“but you’ll always be one, for me”, she says.

I go to college, and laugh with my friends all day,

well teachers are there to scare us,

but in the end we get our way.

I get back, pretty tired,

mom says, “go to bed sweety”,

you have to conquer the world tomorrow,

and this is the way, she inspired.
